Almost there

I'm almost there. Mummy had been very grateful that I have been such a good girl. I haven't caused her trouble at all and had been compact for her to carry me around so that she can take care of my demanding sister. Mummy kept asking me to stay in longer so I can get enough nuitrition so I can be as chub as my sister when she was born- 3.5kg. I will try to stay in for another 2 weeks or so, and then I will try to continue to be Mummy's good girl by giving her a smooth delivery and a good, non-demanding girl, unlike my sister!

Today Mummy and Daddy went to an OB and got a 4D done as they wanted to see how I look. After 20 mins of trying, I either had my hands in the boxing position, or my feet on my face, or the umbilical cord on my head. They had to go out for a walk and after that I made it more difficult for them to see. All they could see was that my mouth is small like my sister and my fore head like my Daddy. I think I look better in person so I guess they will just have to wait for 2 more months!

Growing

Now that I am growing, Mummy can feel me rolling and kicking inside her belly. Every morning and night I get to hear this strange rhyme for an hour each time and I would kick extra hard during that time, it's like a kick boxing class and Mummy can see the machine jumping up when I kick! Today was also the first time where Mummy could feel my hick-ups, and more to come Mummy.

Today my identity was exposed...... Mummy had my 20 weeks structural scan today and it was nice letting Daddy and Mummy see me again. Mummy told the Doctor that they would love to know my gender and the Doctor started the scan from my head down. Mummy really really wanted to ask her to go bottom up since she was really really anxious to find out what I am!! So after what seemed to be a long while, the Doctor told them that I am a................... GIRL! Mummy was so happy that she cried immediately and Daddy was so happy too. I guess having such a cute and sweet darling girl, they would love to have double the joy and sweetness. Mummy was also so happy that she doesn't have to buy new clothes for me since my dear sister has soooooooooooooo many nice clothes and some of them were unworn. So is this the fate of the second child? That I get all the seconds?? Well since my sister always gets compliments on being the best dressed baby, I guess I wouldn't mind seconds too much then.

Mummy and Daddy are so surprised at the size of the coccoon I am living in.. Daddy reckons I am not a dolphin, but a whale! This is Mummy's belly at 15 weeks and 5 days.. which mean I am not even 4 months yet.. she had a really big belly when she was carrying Summer, but this time the size is so much bigger than the last time, Mummy is worried that she is going to look like a whale herself!

Today, I showed myself for the first time. Mummy and Daddy were very excited to see me on the ultra-sound. I was moving a lot and had my back towards them most of the time and so the Doctor couldn't tell whether I am a boy or a girl- I like to keep them guessing for now, it's still to early anyway. Daddy thinks I am a girl but Mummy thinks I am a boy- but can Mummy be trusted when she thought Bean Bean was a boy even after 4 confirmations from 4 different Doctors!? Would you like to place a bet on my gender too?

Being bullied

My sister has been elbowing, kneeing and bumming me for the past few weeks... although I am supposed to be well-protected in Mummy's tummy, Mummy is still worried about sister Bean's roughness. I am angry sometime how she bullies me like that but she always manages to kiss me better and apologises so everything is ok. I love my sister as she gave me my nick name and she is always giving me kisses and hugs.

Hi, I am Dolphin! That's my name for now, named by my sister Bean Bean. She came out with this name when she first saw the illustration of me at 6 weeks. I am due at late November this year. Meanwhile I would like to keep myself healthy, strong and happy until I meet you! So far I had been causing Mummy some tiredness and nausea, I will try to behave a little more with time.
